William Zierolf
President and Chief Executive Officer
William Zierolf brings a broad array of executive management experience, revenue growth, product and business development and funding expertise to MHS. With a demonstrated experience in executing growth strategies and business turnarounds, Zierolf has used a multi-disciplinary guidance approach to help MHS launch their products and services into a competitive marketplace and increasingly difficult economic environment. His vast experience in supply chain management, software, technology and media as well as information services, has effectively increased MHS’ product line and average sales price, tripled contract values in one year, and has secured independent financing for the company’s future expansion initiatives. Before signing on with MHS, Zierolf was President and CEO of TrueAdvantage, a recognized frontrunner in Lead Generation Software. Zierolf led a significant turnaround of the organization in just 15 months, enhancing the company's market position and value. Before leading TrueAdvantage, Zierolf was the President and CEO of Centrport, where he led the complete formation and established all business infrastructure of this early stage online CRM technology provider. Earlier in his career, Zierolf was COO of Aspect Developments, an e-commerce company that was recently acquired by i2 Technologies, and he led the turnaround at TeleTech Resource Network, a publisher of research for Bio Science, Electrical, and Mechanical research professionals. Zierolf first began his career at Dun and Bradstreet, where he developed some of the first electronic information service product offerings and integrated them with D&B assets to form valuable strategic partnerships with NYNEX, Ameritech and AT&T.
Kenneth J. Kelliher
Co-Founder and Executive Vice President of Sales
Since MHS’ inception in 1999, Kenneth Kelliher has guided the company from a vision of providing a quality product for the healthcare industry inventory services to an all-inclusive data cleansing and supply chain management company. Specializing in driving automation in Information Technology (IT) environments, Kelliher has worked in the areas of strategic planning, automated systems and procedures, organizational re-engineering, and customer relations. Skilled at handling large initiatives, including a health system-wide project with a budget in excess of $60 million, Kelliher competently deals with senior health care administration up to and including the board of trustee level. Kelliher conveys quality management to technology and has been involved in the implementation of world-class quality programs in healthcare using the International Quality Standard, ISO 9000.
Michael F. Ferris
Co-Founder and Executive Vice President of Operations
A specialist in materials management and integrating new technology solutions in healthcare settings, Michael Ferris co-founded MHS in 1999 after spending many years working for numerous health systems across the country in various materials management and project management roles. Since then, he has successfully led the company into a recognized solution for major hospitals looking for the ability to examine their entire supply chain process and reduce total costs while maintaining patient safety. Ferris has been included on the faculty of PeopleSoft's healthcare and national users group conferences as well as the NAPM Supply Chain Management conference faculty. He has attained the Certified Materials and Resource Professional certification from the AHA and both the Certified Senior and Fellow status with the Association for Healthcare Resource and Materials Management. In addition, Ferris has authored technical papers on information system implementation, process improvement, and project management. He holds an MBA from West Chester University.
Alan Anderson
VP of Professional Services
Alan Anderson is a supply chain management professional and has been applying management and process improvement skills in the healthcare industry since 1981. His healthcare career began in operations management and progressed to Executive Vice President for a leading medical-surgical distributor, and subsequently to the position of Vice President of Resource & Logistics Management for a leading managed services organization. Anderson established one of the first advanced distribution services operations in the healthcare industry. He is very involved with supply chain management initiatives, such as supplier certification for healthcare suppliers and activity-based cost management which has resulted in logistics process improvement that generated substantial operating cost reductions. In addition, he has significant interaction with C-level healthcare provider executives. He holds, a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with a minor in International Business from Ferris State University, Big Rapids, Michigan.
Elan Esakoff
VP of Professional Services
Elan Esakoff, is a supply chain professional with 26 years experience in the healthcare industry, 13 years of which are in healthcare IT. Prior to launching her independent contracting career over 10 years ago, she worked for McKesson Corporation in Project Management and Operational consulting. Elan spent many years developing her skills at several Boston area hospitals in varying roles in the Materials Management arena, and spent a recent 17 months fulfilling the role of Interim Director of Materials Management at UCSF Medical Center. Elan is skilled in many aspects of healthcare organization supply chain and surgical services operations. She has participated in the selection and implementation of hospital information systems, including materials management, financial management, and surgical services systems. She has successfully managed project teams of various sizes, toward various goals including full implementations, system upgrades, supply chain and process redesign. Her materials management responsibilities have included streamlining product flow to end users with a particular emphasis on support of high volume clinical departments, and she has engaged in multiple projects working with healthcare organizations on diminishing supply chain spend with an emphasis on process and product standardization. Elan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston University, College of Liberal Arts.
Mark Pelletier
Director, Content Operations and Delivery
Mark Pelletier brings to MHS many years of content service experience, including eight years at Aspect Development/i2 Technologies, where he worked as a Content Services Project Manager and Director. Pelletier successfully distributed cleansed and enriched content to multiple large customers, such as Newport News Ship Building, Halliburton, Lucent, Nortel Networks, BAE Systems, Exxon-Mobil, Honda and Honeywell. In conjunction with dedicated offshore content operations, Pelletier delivered enriched material master and vendor master records into various enterprise application repositories. Furthermore, he directed a team of Content Services Project Managers in the United States, Canada and United Kingdom, and developed and implemented a rapid deployment methodology that delivered content value sooner, keeping the customer fully engaged throughout the discovery, production and delivery process. Pelletier also spent 18 years as a Principal Component Engineer at Lockheed Martin/BAE Systems, where he provided design support for Aerospace, Defense and Satellite programs, as well as managing component and supplier selection. Pelletier also developed and deployed innovative processes and tools exploiting PDM, ERP and other corporate data sources, providing visibility of previously difficult to obtain material though all stages of product design, procurement and manufacturing.
